March and April are one of the busy seasons for professional advisors. With audits and tax return filing deadlines, our community’s accountants, lawyers, trust officers, and financial planners work long days in response to client needs.

We hear from professional advisors throughout the year, whenever the conversation turns to charitable giving.

As clients consider their goals and options, professional advisors offer an important level of confidence in navigating complicated terrain. They increasingly understand the benefits of the Community Foundation, offering donors a great deal of flexibility along with professional support, and stewardship.

Many are part of our Professional Advisors Network, aka PAN.

We are very grateful for the efforts of PAN members in Worcester County, who see the satisfaction that comes to clients who call us to help build a giving plan.

So it is with this spirit of pride and thanks that we once again collaborate with the Estate & Business Planning Councils of Worcester and Montachusetts, and the Community Foundation of North Central, in our annual spring dinner for donors and advisors. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 26th featuring Charitable Aspects of the New Tax Act, with Donald J. Greene, Philanthropic Client Relationship Executive for U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.

If you are a professional advisor seeking to learn more about Greater Worcester Community Foundation and PAN, I invite you to contact Kelly Stimson, Vice President of Donor Services.
